Bonita Jewels of Brazil was not created from a business idea. It was born from a journey of awakening, surrender, healing and transformation. But before that, there was a different version of me.
For twenty years, I lived on autopilot. My life revolved around responsibilities, expectations and the needs of others. I was constantly trying to please everyone, and somewhere along the way, I lost myself. I felt empty inside and couldn’t prioritise myself without overwhelming guilt. I was insecure, dependent and stuck. My purpose lay dormant, and I couldn’t find a way forward. Little did I know, my life was about to undergo a profound transformation.

The Great Awakening
My shift didn’t start with a gentle push from the universe. When I surrendered and accepted my present without worrying about the outcome, I finally stopped fighting my reality. The autopilot switched off. Through meditation, yoga and deep spiritual practice, I detached from the future and became fully anchored in the present moment.
For seven years, my world was a flame of turmoil. I faced a complex divorce spanning two countries and financial crises that left me homeless twice. I had no stability or clear direction. I was living in survival mode, lost and scared.
The people I encountered reflected my deepest fears, wounds and shadows. Life wasn’t gently asking me to wake up. It was stripping everything away, piece by piece. When I thought I had reached my limit, came the ultimate test: two cancer diagnoses at once. One was rare and highly aggressive. The second was curable, but still terrifying.
The Reset: Finding Stillness in the Flames
As I sat with those diagnoses, I felt numb. I was on this journey alone, with no physical hand to hold. In that moment of vulnerability, I wiped away my tears and spoke to the Divine. I didn’t ask for the pain to go away. I asked for strength and wisdom to face it.
I accepted the challenges and chose how I would respond to them. Alongside my medical treatment, I saw this period as a personal reset: a time to reflect on old wounds and begin again.
I found stillness amid the chaos. I became an observer of my life rather than a victim of it. Then I realised I was no longer afraid. I knew the storm would end. I felt guided towards something magnificent and extraordinary.
The Birth of Bonita Jewels of Brazil
I survived. I woke up. I grew stronger and wiser. From those ashes, Bonita Jewels of Brazil was born.
The 4 Pillars of Bonita
My brand is the bridge between my struggle and my sovereignty. Each piece of jewellery is designed to be a talisman - a physical reminder that no matter what life throws at you, you carry a light that cannot be extinguished.
We stand on four sacred pillars:
- Strength: The resilience found when you have nothing left but your faith:
- Power: The moment you stop being "dependent" and step into your own sovereignty;
- Overcoming: The ability to find peace even when an avalanche of events is unfolding before you;
- Transformation: The process of becoming who you were always meant to be.
The Bird
The bird in our logo is inspired by the exuberant fauna of my beautiful home, Brazil, and the deeper symbolism of the phoenix. It is a reminder that you can be reduced to ashes and still rise again, stronger and more vibrant than before.
Our colours reflect the Brazilian flag: yellow and gold for abundance, and green for healing. They also honour the heart of a country known for its spiritual energy and powerful gemstones.
My Mission to You
Bonita Jewels of Brazil exists to share light when you find yourselves in the dark. It is a reminder of the love that makes the impossible, possible.
I invite you to join this circle of belonging. Whether you are currently in the "fire" or experiencing your own awakening, knowing that you are not alone. Together, we are strong - Together, we are one.
